
The beginning of Halo: Spartan Strike takes place in 2552 during the events of Halo 2. The Spartan Strike campaign features five Operations consisting of six missions each. Likewise, completing certain requirements in Halo: The Master Chief Collection unlocks additional credits in Halo: Spartan Strike. Ĭompleting certain requirements in Halo: Spartan Strike unlocks a Spartan Strike-themed emblem, avatar, and nameplate in Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

The game does not feature microtransactions, and all loadout options are purchasable with currency earned in-game. Using feedback from Halo: Spartan Assault, the controls were refined for Windows Phone. The trial version alongside all the other Xbox 360 digital Halo titles was eventually delisted from the Xbox storefront on Decemas part of "Phase 2" of the sunsetting of Halo Xbox 360 services, but is still able to be downloaded if you downloaded it prior to the delisting of the games.Halo: Spartan Strike 's gameplay spiritually succeeds Halo: Spartan Assault 's.
